The Principals

The Principals of the company are Timothy R. Speer, a Petroleum Engineer and Geologist with work experience in petroleum engineering, geology, geophysics, production management, business management and field operations, and Carol Marshall, an accountant with work experience in accounting, regulatory filing, and business management.

Mr. Speer is a Registered Engineer with the state of Texas and a Certified Petroleum Geologist with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. He graduated with a Geological Engineering degree with honors from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1983. He has over 20 years of industry experience working for Getty Oil Company as a geologist, Geosite Logging as a well-site geologist, the Fasken Estate as a geologist and most recently for Oilfield Management, Inc., and independent oil company, where he served as vice president. In 1998, Mr. Speer formed Tobosa Exploration, Inc. which serves as contract operator for properties formerly operated by Oilfield Management, Inc., performs oil and gas consulting services and develops exploration prospects. Mr. Speer's experience includes managing and supervising drilling, completion, and production operations, evaluating oil and gas reserves, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, evaluating and negotiating acquisition and divestiture's of oil and gas properties, general management duties, providing expert testimony, and conducting exploration and exploitation geological and geophysical work.

Ms. Marshall is an accountant and has 26 years of experience in oil and gas accounting. She has worked for Desana Development Corp. and Oilfield Management, Inc., both independent oil companies, and for the last 15 years has worked as an independent accountant doing work for several independent oil and gas operators. Ms. Marshall's experience includes generating joint interest billings, revenue accounting, revenue distribution, investment accounting, general ledger, regulatory filing, and business management.
